Yes, I believe it /is/ idiocy to think that a bloody fictional and moronic fan-child cartoon can help us achieve world peace with historically ridiculous--UGH! I listen to a little of this and that, but I do my best not to listen to anything with a lot of swearing. My children love to try to repeat whatever they think sounds neat to say. Evil, adorable little imps!

Shitalia is almost at 50,000 fics on FFnet, and I have to work with a Hetafag for a project in school. It's...painful to play this charade.
As for the MLP thing, I never watched it nor cared about it, I just wanted a perverted rainbow unicorn.
As to people wanting to live in their own bubble, I'm constantly debating with people not to try and change their opinion but to open their minds a little. Recently been arguing with someone over the supposed need to consume meat, despite overwhelming evidence that we do not. The more he responds with bogus arguments to justify his position (which isn't in question at all) the worse he makes himself look and that's what is so sad about that kind of attitude.
Unfortunately I'm on the same side as he is, the difference between us is that I understand that my lifestyle is chosen, I choose to eat what I do and I know the consequences of my actions, some people want to believe that everything they do is fluffy bunnies :P
MLP is My Little Pony. I have no idea why it's so popular, and yes I have seen one episode so I know what I'm talking about. Essentially, it's supposed to be for little girls, yet it's watched by tons of manchildren and insecure teens who think it teaches about the rules of life or some shit. People these days.
