Love majority of the bunkai and agree that after the groin strike a throw is the next stage. While I don't like being negative, the initial 'block' wouldn't be effective against a real life attack, which would more than likely include head punches. Nice video though with some strong karate on show.

Oustanding discipline and skill shown by these karateka. For all the people making negative comments about the validity of kata bunkai for self defence, these guys would be able to take out most people with their karate. It was great in the early days when the UFC was about one type of martial art facing another. Now it's about one MMA guy against another, as most are pretty much well rounded fighters these days! Good to see this video, cheers.
