I am a self taught needleworker who has always had a love for the needlearts.

Background:
Member of historical needlework guild for ten years.
President of Needlework guild for four years.
Helped streamline our bi-annual needlework exhibit.
Attended two week needlework tour to England in 1998.
Presently retired and assisting local artisan with finishing work.

Techniques: Blackwork, cross stitch, redwork embroidery, and needlepoint
Fibers: specialty threads, floss, pearl cotton, and wool tapestry yarn
Projects: Original and adaptive works with ideas from books, magazines,kits, classes, and historical references.

Best needlework experiences:
Being given the inventory from a needlework shop which closed.
My 1998 needlework tour to England with stitchers from around the country who I didn't even know. What fun we had!Needlework: cross stitch, hardanger, petit point, hand embroidery and needlepoint.
