I got my 84 Nighthawk from a friend a year and a half ago, the tires were shot so he parked it. Five years later they wanted to get rid of it so I took 'em up on their offer, the bike sat outside uncovered all that time and had been vandalized by someone, at least that's how it looked. So I had it trailered over to my place and started to work on it, everything needed to be replaced. Now I could go on forever about all the work I did on it but I'll cut it short, now the bike is legal and the only things left are fork seals, rear shocks, carbs fine tuning, fluid changes, and the big thing is the cam chain tensioner. I'm in the process of removing all the parts to get to the tensioner and I've got to replace some parts in there.
