Good suggestion about the gun nuts video. I definitely know the type. Glad you like the Lesnar videos too! He's retired now so I guess that mine has been plundered. I've been keeping up with MMA since 2005. Don't follow it as closely these days but I still check in to Sherdog a few times a week. With UFC & PRIDE, I made the same mistake I made when getting into the NBA back in the early 1990s: I became engrossed with the individuals involved instead of the sport itself. As all of my favorites have been knocked off the mountain or retired, I've lost a considerable amount of interest.

I totally understand the Wings hate. I mean, before the salary cap, they were "the Yankees of Hockey" - winning the cup more than any other franchise mostly because they spent more than any other franchise. I'm surprised they've been able to maintain their level of play this far into the salary cap era with only Nick Lidstrom remaining from the old guard. When I'm watching the road games on FSD, I often think about how maddening it must be for home team fans in attendance to be nearly split with Wings fans. Though the population of Detroit has decreased a lot over the last decade, I can't believe the majority of them are displaced Detroiters - probably a band wagon full of "fair weather fans" - which annoys me too. Oh, well. I wonder if they'll ever recede back to the dumps where they wallowed from the 60s-80s.

Hey Stewart! Funny you should mention that. While my brother and I were watching the last showdown between the Wings & Coyotes, I said to him "Man, Phoenix must hate us as much as we hate San Jose!" Still, you guys got the better of that last game. Shane Doan's a great captain: good scorer and very physical player. I see he scored the game winner for you guys over Calgary a little while ago!
