About this user

I purchased my first guitar on October 21, 2010 (Strat). Before then, I had never picked up a guitar in my life! Since then, I have devoted most of my free time to learning and improving my guitar playing. I am left-handed and have taught myself to play guitar. I have no guitar instructors and use the internet as my resource like Marty Schwartz's Youtube channel to get me going! From learning and experience, I use tabs as a base, live videos as research, and my ear to finish learning songs.

To play guitar has always been a dream of mine! My mother bought me an Acoustic Guitar back on my 6th birthday but I never got to play it as I was holding it upside down. It was a right-handed acoustic, therefore I never got to own a guitar until now! To play guitar was always a hidden fantasy of mine until it really started to take over me. Listening to bands like Tool, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy (Randy Rhoads), Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC to name a few help inspire and push me to finally buy a guitar!

My inspirations would include Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Adam Jones, Aaron Lewis, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison) just to name some. I mostly listen to Tool now a days as they are the band I've taken great interest to in terms of guitar. Some of my other favorite bands include Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd, etc. I'm mostly a fan of music in general. All kinds except country really.

If you subscribe to my channel, it's a real honor. To know there are people out there that want to hear more from me is always a good motivation. I work hard on my covers and spend hours on research and countless days of practice. We all make mistakes on covers so please don't chew my ass out if I mess up a few times ; ) If I totally killed a song, than it's okay :p
