Funny - We used to catch trout years ago on the bottom 1/2 of old ball point pens. These will work fine - if the lure is the righht size and moves right the fish will grab them alright.............

Interesting idea with the toothbrush... we've always used a teaspoon. Does the toothbush still work OK on normal sized trout? Must try your idea.... Thanks
