Do you know what Jonas Reingold's "bass pedals" are? They aren't explained anywhere. They are pedals he steps on to get a sub bass hit of the note he steps on. If he's playing the D string; he steps on a button which sounds a D that really hits your chest. It may be a keyboard controller only for your feet.
