If the avatar caught your attention, yes it is exactly what you think it is. I am as big a supporter of the free market as one could possibly be while also being a staunch critic of the crony corporate favoritism that government perpetuates.
The success or lack thereof for any company or individual should be decided by consumers, not bureaucrats giving the most politically connected persons an unfair edge.

And now I have adopted a school of thought that many call, "Anarcho-Capitalism." In short, I hold that all functions of government are either undesirable, or are better provided by people with no legitimized monopoly within a given region.
Over time after realizing the failure of government to either allocate or provide the incentive for anyone to work as effectively as they could, I eventually took the reality of that to it's logical extreme.
Currently taking time off to write a book on the subject so I can explain myself in greater detail.
