About Me:
Born in 57 BBY on Stewjon, Ob-Wan was taken from his family as an infant to undergo his training in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. At the age of 11, he became Jedi Apprentice to Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and traveled with him to many worlds. Obi-Wan was the first Jedi in 1,000 years to defeat and kill a Sith Lord. He defeated Darth Maul during the Liberation of Naboo and promised his dying master Qui-Gon that he would train Anakin Skywalker as a Jedi.
In 22 BBY, Obi-Wan found the Clone Army on Kamino, and was captured on Geonosis while pursuing bounty hunter Jango Fett. He was almost executed along with Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padme Amidala until the Clone Army arrived and rescued them, but the following battle began the galaxy wide Clone Wars.
Obi-Wan fought in many battles during the Clone Wars, and was appointed as a member of the Jedi High Council. Even after his apprentice became a Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan and Anakin fought together many times, becoming a widely renowned pair. Obi-Wan earned the nickname "The Negotiator" through his charm and calm demeanor as well as the quiet threat of his abilites with a lightsaber. Later in the war, Anakin saved his life during the battle over Coruscant, after which Obi-Wan killed General Grievous on Utapau. However, he was soon betrayed, as Commander Cody, following Order 66, opened fire on him.
Obi-Wan met up with his old mentor, Grand Master Yoda, and they both realized not many Jedi survived. Both Jedi returned to the temple and discovered the horrifying truth, Anakin had fell to the dark side of the Force and led the attack on the Jedi Temple. Obi-Wan revealed this news to Padme, but did not believe him. Later he snuck aboard Padme's ship and arrived at Mustafar in order to duel his former apprentice, now known as Darth Vader. Obi-Wan won the fight by crippling Vader and remoresfully left him for dead on the banks of the lava rivers. While Yoda went into exile on Dagobah, Obi-Wan took Anakin and Padme's son, Luke Skywalker, to live with the Lars Family on Tatooine.
19 years later, Obi-Wan came across Luke as a fully grown man, and was requested by Princess Leia Organa, the leader of the Rebellion against the Empire to help the Rebels. Obi-Wan and Luke traveled to Mos Eisley Spaceport and hired space smuggler, Han Solo and his Wookie co-pilot, Chewbacca to fly them to Allderan. During the voyage they discovered Allderan had been destroyed and were aboard the Empire's new ultimate weapon--The Death Star. Obi-Wan snuck through the space station and managed to shut down the tractor beam. However, he confronted his old apprentice Darth Vader for the last time, as he sacrificed himself to let the others escape.
Obi-Wan wasn't truly dead, he became one with the force after Vader killed him. Obi-Wan had learned the path to immortality and would return as a Jedi Spirit to help guide Luke to Dagobah and learn from Master Yoda. It was after Yoda's death that Obi-Wan revealed to Luke that Vader was his father and that Leia Organa was his twin sister. In the end, Luke helped reedem his father by destroying Emperor Palpatine and the Empire. It was during the victory celebration on Endor that Luke finally saw the spirits of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin. All three Jedi were proud of Luke's journey to bring peace back to the galaxy.
