Before i got saved a few months ago, i heard of the 'Canton Spirtiuals song: God loves you'. That song made me cry & tears would come down everytime i heard that song. It doesn't effect me not as much, since i'm saved. But i thought about that song last night @ work. Since i really didn't like Gospel, i try to listen to it, & winged from neo-soul, & r&b. I still like jazz.. I may check out those selections you sent me, thanks.

If it were easy, we would not have to keep casting down our imaginations and keeping our flesh in under subjection. (2 Corinthians 10:4-6 and 1 Corinthians 9:27). But the Lord knows how to deliver us from all temptations (2 Peter 2:9). He will not allow us to be tempted more than we can handle (1Corinthians 10:13). Remember Jesus was tempted for 40 days and he overcame every temptation so that we would be able to do the same. Stick with it rickames it will get tight att times but you have the victory. Everyday is a new day you have to be strong but it is not in your strength because you will give in but in God's ability to guide and keep you each day. He is keeping me and He will do the same for you, just trust him regardless of how good she looks or how saved she is. Remember just because you meet another saved person doesn't mean you both can't be tempted and won't give in, been there done that. LESSON LEARNED! Enjoy and bless you as well. I am glad to hear it. We never have too many scriptures but we can become overloaded especially when starting out. You sound hungry for the Word and I want to encourage you not overwhelm you. It is ok to zero in on a specific topic or area and learn about it then move on to something else, which at some point you will find yourself doing. If it is Salvation learn about that for now. As far as abstaining your flesh/body has to get use to the idea. I do undertsand because that is where I am at. But I have overcome those thoughts most of the time (smile). Men are more visual then women so it is more of a battle that way. We are more emotional.
