I do not take kindly to idiots, haters, malcontents, the ignorant by choice, or the selfish, greed motivated people that care not for the less fortunate in a society. You will not be tolerated here.
Being a Canadian citizen, I know the benefits of a Government system for the people, by the people in the true sense. In Canada as in many other first rate countries, higher education and health care are as close to guaranteed rights that one can expect, services we are free to pursue and in most cases free to use. No one misses out on higher education because they can't afford it. No one spends the best years of their lives under enormous pressure paying back outrageous student loans that negate the whole reason for wanting higher education for a high paying job in the first place. There is no reason here for misdirected programs such as No Child Left Behind as in the US of A. No one here has to postpone or turn away from needed medical care because they don't have medical insurance or the means to pay for it. No one is turned away from medical coverage because of a preexisting condition and certainly, there are no "Death Panels" or any other such nonsense and myths aimed at scaring its citizens into refusing universal health care or any other institution that can only make a nation stronger or better educated. Come on America! Smarten up!
I believe that our political parties, though in opposition, generally do agree with one another that they are elected to fulfill a common expectation of serving the citizens and their country first and the best they can and would not consider dismantling the institutions that the majority of progressive, liberal thinking Canadians consider important in a civilized nation and world. Political parties in Canada quickly learn they are not elected to sit in the back pockets of the lobbyists, powerful bankers and self-serving corporations. Those that have ventured that course are quickly exposed and dethroned forthwith without enduring the citizens to years of expensive legal wrangling and continuous scandal or cover-up like our neighbors to the south. Speaking of the USA and their political parties, though I do not necessarily follow them with any great interest nor do I care too, I do arrive at my own amusing conclusion that politics in the USA seems to be made up of a cast of selfish, corrupt politicial characters in what I can only describe as Americas "National Soap Opera". One owned and orchestrated by the "I'll be gone with the money before the big crash" bankers and the "how rich can I get screwing the people and buying polititians" board of directors of the big corporations of America. Scoundrels that bend the Political landscape to their own will and for their own ends, a country today that once was one of the greatest nations on earth and the envy of many nations but now, appears to be a nation populated by extremists, politically polarized quarrelling malcontents, bigots and illiterates that can't come together for the common good or get anything done, a nation bent on its own imploding destruction brought about by its own selfishness, greed and the disdain for the less fortunate! I sit and watch a nation being carved to pieces by its own members unwilling to change their self-destructive ways. And, the rest of the world watches as the inevitable unfolds to their amusement, however dangerous that may prove to be.
