About StandUpSam
My account on YouTube began as a way to put up my stand-up comedy. I think my longer stand-up acts will become more of a regular thing (at least once a year). Maybe I'll do shorter ones as well.
There will probably be other videos that I upload. I carry my camera with me absolutely everywhere I go, so I record interesting things that I see.

I'm working on a masters in zoology at Oklahoma University, starting in fall 2007. I want to do something involving biology and computers, like artificial life and artificial intelligence.I'm trying to learn Chinese, but it's hard, because it's extremely difficult to set aside time each day to learn something like that on one's own.
Creatively, I like doing stuff like stand-up. I have some ideas for stories that I'd like to get started writing, as well.
I enjoy alternate history and also real history. Especially military history. Especially World War II history.
I enjoy current events and watch the news on TV, the Internet, the paper, etc. a lot.
I like animals. I used to raise hamsters and sugar gliders. I have two dogs at home, but unfortunately, I can't have any pets right now due to apartment rules and problems with allergies.
About my stand-up: I first did stand-up comedy the summer before my freshman year of college. Then, it was about five minutes on amateur night. When I did my recent comedy act on April 11th, 2007, I hadn't done stand-up for a few years, but it was something that I had been wanting to do for a long time. I hope you guys enjoy it. I'm planning to do it at least once a year now.
