First & foremost I am not a good person & never do I want that label. I am from Oklahoma, I am 23, majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Journalism. Every book of The Bible testifies to the Deity of Jesus Christ, that he in fact was The Messiah.
In Genesis He was "the offspring of the woman that would crush Satans'head."
In Numbers he is called "The Star and The Ceptor."
In Job he is called "Christ The Redeemer."
In Psalms David called him "Lord," and "The Great Shepard."
Soloman said "He is The Rose of Sharon and The Lily of The Valley."
Isaiah said he name shall be called "Wonderful Counselor The Mighty God, The
everlasting Father, and The Prince of Peace. And the government shall be on his
shoulders and of his government their shall be no end.
Jeremiah called him "The Lord of Righteousness."
Daniel called him "The Ancient of Days and The Annointed One."
Haggai called him "The desire of all nations."
Zechariah called him "The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords."
Malachi called him "The Messenger of The Convenant and The Son of Righteousness."
The Book of Matthew calls him "The son of David, Emanual The Son of The Living God
who is with us."
He was not a messenger, he was The Son of God.
In the Book of Mark he's called "The Holy One."
In the Book of Luke he's called "The Horn of Salvation."
In the Book of John he's called "The Word," "The Lamb of God," "The Christ,"
"The Annointed One, The Teacher, The Only Begotten of The Father, The Living Water,
"The Savior," "The Bread of Life," "The Light of The World," "The Great I am,"
"The Resurrection and The Life," "The Great Shepard of The Sheep".
In the Book of Acts he is called "The Judge."
St.Paul said "Jesus Christ is our passover, he is our rock, he is our cheif
cornerstone, he is the head of the church, he is the invisible image of God,
he is our hope, he is our mediator, he is King of Kings and Lord of Lords."
In the last book,
the Book of Revalation, John looks into heaven and see's Jesus
and refers to him as "The Living One," "The Almighty," "The Amen," "The Faithful and The True Witness of God," "The Lion of The Tribe of Juda," "The Alpha and The Omega," "The Bright and The Morning Star."
He was the meekest and lowliest of all the sons of man; yet, he spoke of coming on the clouds of heaven with the glory of God. He was drenched in truth so much that evil spirits and demons cried out in terror of his coming; yet, he was so soft, genuine, and approachable that the children loved to play with him and nuzzle in his arms. When he attended a village wedding his innocent presents was that of sunshine. No one was so kind to sinners; yet, no one spoke red hot scorching words about sin. A bruised reed he would not break, his own life was love; yet, on one occasion he asked the Pharisees how they were expected to escape the damnation of hell. He was a dreamer of dreams and pure telescope to visions; yet, for shear stock realism he has all of our self style realist soundly beaten. He was the servant of all washing the disciples feet; yet, masterfully he strolled into the temple where tax collectors and money changers fell over one another in their mad rush to get away from the fire they saw blazing in his eyes. In the end he saved others but at last his own life himself he did not save. There is nothing in history like the union of contrast that confronts us in Jesus, which is the mystery of divine personality
Acts 3:15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.
In dying you live, in surrending you win.
"I know men; and I tell you that Jesus Christ is not a man. Superficial minds see a resemblance between Christ and the founders of empires, and the gods of other religions. That resemblance does not exist. There is between Christianity and whatever other religions the distance of infinity..."
"Well then, I will tell you. Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne and I myself have founded great empires; but upon what did these creations of our genius depend? Upon force. Jesus alone founded His empire upon love, and to this very day millions will die for Him. . . . I think I understand something of human nature; and I tell you, all these were men, and I am a man; none else is like Him: Jesus Christ was more than a man." - Napoleon Bonaparte
(Response of Napoleons comments)"Whatever else one may say in response, it is difficult to explain this away as mere eloquence. In fact, it was to counter mere eloquence and such artificial power that Napoleon said what he did. With unbelievable insight, he saw how Jesus Christ conquered. It was not by force, but by winning the heart." - Ravi Zacharias
