I had been looking forward to your visit to St. Louis like a 10 year old waiting on Christmas, I did not know what to expect when I met you. Would you be an untouchable celebrity star, just dropping pennies from heaven on the poor speakers who desire to be where you are? Would you just feed us delicious bits of information just to build us up for the back of the room sales? I would like to thank you for being an amazingly funny and entertaining educator and presenter!!!! You ROCK!!!! Meeting you and actually being able to sit down and learn from you was the highlight of my year, next to becoming President of Toastmasters Club 1291 Voices in Unity (shameless plug). I would like to thank you for sharing the best of the best!!!!

Interesting that I'm not seeing any reference to the Championship being a Toastmasters International competition and that Public Speaking and Leadership are the skill sets taught to Darren and thousands of others every week. The website will lead you to a local meeting, visit, learn and join. Change your life forever.

I love everything on your channel! I'm a teen who has suddenly taken an interest in public speaking and I realize how much potential I have as a speaker. That's a lot considering I'm usually not a talker and I'm not very funny. Your videos have inspired me a lot. Thank you very much :)
