Srpski Biser was established in 1982 by a group of enthusiastic Serbs determined to keep their culture and traditions alive. The group was formed and is still led by Mr. Veljko Bajsanski; essentially he is the heart that keeps Srpski Biser beating. The group has performed locally and nationwide since it assembled in St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. Srpski Biser performs regularly and has been featured as special guests at the St. Petersburg International Folk Fair since 1983. The group has performed their treasured dances in Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, Milwaukee, Rockford, Steubenville, and most recently at the 2007 festival in Monroeville and the October 2007 festival in Windsor, Canada!
