Can anyone comment on the clean headroom of this amp? I was all jazzed up about getting one. Then, I noticed it had EL84 tubes for some reason? Most amps on that power tube have great crunch and almost no headroom. Why were these tubes chosen over say two EL34? What is the headroom like?

This sounds like a killer all-around distortion pedal. It also sounds absolutely nothing like a Plexi. For this money, you'd be better off getting a Bugera Plexi Clone 1960. Very good Plexi sound for $450ish.
