Oh! Kate!

This is a Prayer/Poem in the form of Mathnavi and can be chanted in any of persian music "Dastgahs" which include a Mathnavi "Goosheh". Traditionally it is chanted in "Afshri" or "Bayate Tork".

این صدای خانم پریسا نیست. بهتر است نام خواننده واقعی ذکر شود که حقوق و شهرت هر دو حفظ شود.

تعالی الله یکی بی مثل و مانند ـ که خوانندش خداوندان خداوند

Others call you love and I call you the sovereign of love, O thou who transcends the imagination of all, do not walk without me

The happiness of this world is with you; with you is the happiness of the next

Without me do not live in...

With graceful elegance you walk, O essence of life, do not walk without me

Through sweet-scented meadows, O life of believers, do not walk without me

Without me, O heavens do not turn, O moon do not shine, O earth do not grow, O time do not pass

Without me, O reason do not learn, O words do no...

Just close your eyes and listen to the music. Remember the old saying: "do not judge a book by its cover!". If after listening with your eyes closed you still do not find it amazing then you are deaf. Well tone deaf anyway!

بازآمدم بازآمدم از پیش آن یار آمدم - در من نگر در من نگر بهر تو غمخوار آمدم ؛

شاد آمدم شاد آمدم از جمله آزاد آمدم - چندین هزاران سال شد تا من به گفتار آمدم ؛
