(D) | Whitehall Street, Manhattan to Coney Island Brooklyn
Notes:
-Due to FASTRACK General Order (Service change) on the IND 6th Avenue Line, there is no 6th Avenue Subway Service between 57th Street to West 4th Street in BOTH direction.
-(A) (C) runs express from 145th Street to Hoyt St, Brooklyn (Due to (D)(E)(F) on Local track). In this clip the (A) is skipping 23rd St via Local track, while one (C) is on the local making a stop. This is due to a MOW diesel train running slowly from 125th St to 59th St, which forced the (A) (C) to use the Local track, for this time only.
-(D) replaces (A) and (C) local service from 145th Street to West 4th Street, in order to reroute back to 6th Avenue line to end at 2nd Avenue (F) station. The (D) to Coney Island, runs ONLY between Whitehall Street (BMT) to Coney Island.
-(F) reroutes via 53rd Street and 8th Avenue Line, to avoid 6th Avenue Lin Service. (Q) replaces train from 57th Street / 7th Avenue to 21st Street - Queensbridge. (F) runs on the 8th Avenue line to West 4th St and resumes to Coney Island.
-(B) / (M) Service ended early to prevent delays.
At 42nd Street Connections with the (A) (C) (D) (E) (F) (Q) and other routes are available. Same for Jay Street for connecting (A) (C) (D) (F) (N) (R) service.
About Fastrack:
Created Winter 2011 by the MTA, first started on the IRT Lexington Line in Jan 2012, and Broadway Line in early Feb 2012. The purpose is to cut a half of a line (starting in Manhattan), to enable transit workers to work faster and safer on tunnel and station renovations. Done ONLY between 10pm to 5am on Weeknights. Alternative service must be used.
While this is in trial, regular G/Os (Midday, Late Nights, Weekends and SOME rush hour) is STILL being done, regardless of Fastrack. If it goes successful, select days where G/Os are in effect CAN become eliminated.
