Poor baby - all the crying makes me think "GO RESCUE HER DAMNIT", but if you do that it's just showing her that the stairs really are scary, instead of something she can deal with. Got to learn to use them eventually. Carpeting might help, though, so she's not slipping on them.

@swordwhale1 Probably a heck of a lot safer than when I tied two harnesses together and hooked my family's two dogs up to my bike as a kid. Only one of them obeyed me, but she was the heavy one so it worked out. The dogs got to run to their hearts' content and we didn't have to go to a dog park...

@lolburgersaretastey It's a roller slide - you don't actually slide on it; the rollers spin under you and you just keep zipping across them. No friction burns involved.

What's with the naysaying? We watched this in one of my MLIS classes, and it almost makes me wish I was doing librarianship rather than training to be an archivist. I love that people in this field can have a sense of humor about what they do.

I got bored during all that self-aggrandizing build up. Then it started and I realized it was just a montage of other people's cat videos, and I stopped watching altogether.

Squirrels (and prairie dogs) have been known to carry the plague in my home state. Not every squirrel will have it, obviously, but that's what I always think of when I see people touching them.
