Spoiled Fiction is an explosive mix between metal from the Azores (Tiago[Guitarra] e Andre.. [Guitarra]), from the Algarve (Isidro[Bateria]) and from the Alentejo (Pica[Voz] e Bixo[Baixo]). The Myspace website was the way that, in late 2005 and with a lot of metal to share, Tiago and Isidro used to show some tracks in order to find the It line-up for a serious project in Lisbon.

The band was put together almost instantly, with the admission of Andre.., Pica and Bixo who where exactly what the project needed, both technically and in their motivation to work. At this point, still separated by thousands of miles and still not knowing each other personally, the band manages to record and distribute their first track The Time, in late 2006.

The song got some good reviews and by the time the guys in the band finally got together, already had their goals set and a lot of work done. Then they started to book shows and by June 2007.

Fueled by this shows, pleased with their set and happy about their home recordings, the band decides to record their first Promo CD, entitled Way to Live. This Promo was recorded by Spoiled Fictions own Andre.. Tavares, in his bedroom!

With a huge will to show our work, the band started a series of live shows and had the opportunity of playing along some big names in the Portuguese metal scene.

Now the band is composing new songs to release a new CD in 2009. We are planing to launch 2/3 promotracks to help searching for a good label to release it.

We believe that unity brings power. Long lives METAL!
