I grew up in a very 'unconventional' home in which topics of sustainability, spirituality, health and eco-friendly living, were always examined and explored. My parents (Mother is Cree [Native American] Father is Glaswegian [Scottish] raised us on: garden grown foods, honey bees, sewing, crafting, DIY home decor (AND DIY home building-but that's off topic ;) , to be budget friendly (with everything!) AND with the belief that second hand -with your own added flair- was not only more unique (BIG positive) but more environmentally friendly (WHY we do it).My husband is an inspiring human being & shares similar life goals- with the added background of entrepreneurial/small business development. I'm hoping he'll join in on this project (if you see a handsome guy beside me in any videos- that would be him! ;)
I have a formal educational background in Indigenous Governance, Sustainable Project Management & am two classes away from completing a B.A(HHHH) Degree in Communications. My school of hard knocks comes from figuring out how to balance life goals while being a Mother to three children: one young enough to still be spitting up on me, and two old enough to be Bieber fans...;)
All the above are influences into my life, thus my channel- for anyone to share in... who will have me ;)
@kyaira151 - Just do it! (start with "Fashion Designer for Dummies" book from the library?) Good luck!!
