John Williams was responsible for the themes and scores for three of the four of Irwin Allen's sci-fi TV shows of the 60's. Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants. All well done.

For all of you John Williams fans out there, JW composed the themes and scores from the Irwin Allen produced shows, Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants, plus he scored two of Mr. Allen's two blockbuster flicks, The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno.

This song gave me shivers. I am an American and love our patriotic music, but we need an American anthem that truly inspires. God bless the U.S.A., and Australia.

As with The Seekers and Judith Durham, Ed Ames voice is one of the best. And yes, Mr. Ames is still alive and kickin'.

When I heard Waltzing Matilda as a kid in the 60's, I thought it was a song about a dancing mouse. Now I know better. Any way, as an American, I believe Judith and the boys could beat out the likes of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Madonna, name any contemporary group/singer.

Good god almighty, I love Judith and the boys. May they continue to entertain for many more years.

Bev Bivens was sure a looker in the day. There's a YouTube video that shows her back in 2009 at a museum in San Francisco. And I love their music very much.

For those who don't know, the third season theme upon which this is based, was composed by super composer, John Williams.

Man, wouldn't it have been great if this and Man from the 25th Century had sold as a TV series? These would have made Irwin Allen the undisputed king of television sci-fi.

I remember when ABC Sports used the instrumental version for their coverage of the PGA tour. They also used Loves Theme by Barry White and The Love Unlimited Orchestra.

Back in the 80's I saw this performed on TV with John Williams (No relation) and the Boston Pops on PBS.

I know someone beat me, but I remember when Mark Goodson, and Bill Todman used this music as the theme for Now You see It with Jack Narz as host, and Johnny Olsen as the announcer.
