Wow, I cannot believe the terrible news about the Solomon videos. I was learning so much from them as well.

I was listening lectures of Prof. Solomon on YouTube for last few days. I enjoyed his talks so much that I like to listen more of them -- however unfortunately the videos has been very recently removed by the user. Could I kindly enquire who is the owner of the clips and when it would be possible to access them? Thanks.

Only $255 a box? Ill take three!!! And $ 129.95 for an audiotape? What the hell, add to cart, just in case I guess the people at The Teaching Company figured out that its precisely the philosophy and literature students who are making the big bucks during these troublesome times. To quote Apu: Look at that outrageous markup! You magnificent bastard, I salute you.
Anyways, big thanks to Spindlework for great videos!

TTC are one of the most aggressive copyright owners I have ever come across. I damn near lost my university online account because I was sharing one of their lecture series.
It is not fair in a sense that learning videos should be the ones most under pressure for copyright claims and not cheap Hollywood films with no merit of learning.

I certainly would not remove such wonderful teachings of my own accord. The rights to the Solomon lectures belong to The Teaching Company, and you can find them here http://www.teach12.com/ttcx/CourseDescLong2.aspx?cid=437 to the lovely tune of $255. Sorry.
