More than 10,000 people attended last Saturday May 4 to the first edition of Café Olé Ibiza Festival in Mexico City. The audience was impressed by the high level of production, one of the most important realized in Mexico till today in the scene of electronic music. The huge festival, in which acted more than 100 artists and that had the support of a team of more than 500 people surrounding production and services, 250,000 watts of sound, 500,000 watts of light at four simultaneous stages and the largest LED screen that was ever installed in Mexico, will be remembered as one of the best for many years.
In more than 10 hours of non-stop music and shows, the audience packed the fairground of the Banamex Center and did not stop to dance and get crazy with every vibe of the prestigious Djs who passed through the cabin. The festival opened its doors at 8 pm with the sound of Café Olé Ibiza residents Rafha Madrid and Danny Leblack and later with Ultra Naté, Pablo Ceballos and Albert Neve, who hold a much acclaimed set. The most attended moment of the night was still to come by the sounds of Fedde Le Grand who set the festival's highlight followed by Alex Gaudino and Juanjo Martin who was in charge to beat the rest out of the enormous crowd.
Especially prominent appearances took place by the world's most famous transsexual, Amanda Lepore, the performers Miss Davilota and Diva Houston and the American singer Ultra Naté. After his dj set, Ultra Naté played some of his best-known hits, such as "If You Could Read My Mind" and "Free" and introduced his new song "Everybody loves the night", whose video will feature the footage shot at this festival.
A spectacular audiovisual production accompanied the performances and the air shows, which amazed the audience of mostly young electronic music lovers, produced by Space Ibiza for Hot Rob Productions in Mexico.
