As quoted by The Times for 2 consecutive years (2009,2010) as Top 10 UK Festival, Liverpool Sound City is back with a bang with over 250 bands across 30 venues across days (May 19th-21st). Whilst at The Hilton Hotel, 2 days where music industry illuminaries meet, discuss the current climate and future of the music business.

During the festival such bands as :The Kooks, The Black Lips, The View, Funeral Party, Frank Turner, Steve Mason, Philip Selway, Cast, Miles Kane, Sound of Guns, Mona, Jamie XX, Spank Rock & Amanda Blank, play at such great venues of Liverpool like St. Luke's Church (Bombed Out Church, St George hall, O2 Academy, The Crypt Hall (Metropolitan Cathedral).

On top of the big named acts, a swathe of emerging talent, from across the world (USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Brazil, etc) play special intimate shows where delegates and wrist bands holders can discover the next big thing that's happening globally. Label parties fro Bella Union, Moshi Moshi, Young Turks (Jamie XX), to The Aussie BBQ, Canadian Blast, Exhibitions from illustrators & artists across the UK, to exclusive Film screenings and a Football match!!
