@kaBASS2009 No Problem. You play very well. Not only have you extended the track, you have also added something a little special to it. The finished article reminds me of the "New wave" Brit funk (79/81) that we used to hear in the Nightclubs back then. Check out Sandstorm by Level 42 or Flying h...

About Soulhead1981's channel
its not Not really a Channel as such,as most of my vinyl is way too scratched after 30+ years to upload. Luckily much of my Funk collection is already here on You-Tube and a small portion of it is reflected in my favorites list.

....a 48 Year Old Funk Survivor who grew up in the late 60s,and early 70s Listening to P-Funk / Dub and then to the new "Strange" Disco sound of the mid to late 70s which i later learned to love immensely. When we started to cut or comb back our Afros around 1979 and turned to the curly perm I changed from a "Disco Freak" in to a "Jazz Funker" as the sound of Soul began to change yet again, many new bands emerged and the early 70s artists began their comebacks with a different sound...Spun a few tracks back in the day at a few clubs ,was an avid Blues and soul reader (Soul Boys Mag) was a typical London "Jazz-Funker" of the early 80s ( Soulhead )...:Leather trousers, white socks and "Stay-Sof-Fro" curly perm dripping down the back of my neck !!! .Tuned into Robbie Vincent,Greg Edwards,Big Steve Walsh (Rip) and the Pirate stations like JFM, LWR, Invicta and Solar in the days when those Tossers at Radio One wouldn't play the Funk.Tuned into Tony Blackburn and co on Radio London as the Funk started to get popular again in the mid 80s.I was always up the west end at Gullivers,or Gossips Nightclub in the early 80s.Went to clubs like All nations, Kings on the Rye, Scene on the Green, Ronnie Scotts ect... all the old London Soul / Jazz Funk Clubs of the 1970s and 80s. Watched as Electro-Funk / Rap and Break dancing started to take over but stayed true the Funk as Jam and Lewis changed the sound yet again ,Saluted as local kids Soul II Soul ,Loose Ends, Conquered the States, picking up the baton from Delegation ,Imagination and Central line....Saluted again as our kids created their own sound, smashing the speed barrier with Jungle/D&B ...Listened as the next generation recycled 1970s Jazz Funk and called it Acid Jazz.....
Modern music has turned to monotonous one dimensional S**T. All i truly understand is the stuff of my teens.....
