Hello to my fellow SoulFitness Divas! Welcome to my channel! I created SoulFitness Divas because of my passion for the health and well being of not only all people, but more specifically Black American women. It is a fact that the health crisis in America and the obesity epidemic are hitting the black community the hardest. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) black women are the unheathiest people in the country because of unhealthy lifestyle habits such as poor dietary choices, overweight, obesity, and the health conditions caused by them. Several times a year Essence magazine and Ebony magazine publish articles in an attempt to wake up Black America and motivate us to take charge of our health.
The purpose of my channel is be a part of the solution and to inspire black women and others to step out of denial and defeatism and to send out this message: "LOVE AND VALUE YOURSELF. YOU ARE WORTH IT!"
I encourage you to stand up and BE THE SOULFITNESS DIVA THAT YOU ARE. Let her out and make the postive changes you need to be your best you !
Self care begins with self love (value) which must happen before positive change can happen.

POEM: Who Is a SoulFitness Diva?
She proudly wears her lovely locs yet she never dreads...she turns away strife, chooses peace, 'nuf said
With confidence she wears her hair naturally - braids, curls, or fro, and blesses her temple wherever she goes
She relaxes it, she weaves it or, elegantly wears it bald...she nourishes her temple, choosing to answer the call
A SoulFitness Diva can be a Latina, a Brit, or First Nation Sensation who come hell or high water raises her vibration--- by feeding LIFE to her form -
She's a tween, she's a teen,
she's spring, summer, autum or winter; doning her blessed silver crown; power walking, stretching, and still gettin' down.
-- Ladies, never quit. Honor your temple; always.
