FINDING A CURE FOR JUVENILE DIABETES TYPE 1 INSULIN DEPENDENT. It breaks my heart to watch our loving, giving, caring, beautiful little girl, diagnosed at age 3, now 11, be made to feel so "different" from her friends at school. She misses many things with her fellow students due to having this, going to the office to see her school's nurse when her sugar drops, being tested before her lunch, her snacks in class, thus missing class, fun times, etc., as when her sugar level goes up, at times, she needs insulin to bring her sugar level down. I have watched her flinch at these shots, but not complain. I have watched insulin "leak" from her beautiful young skin, due to a large dose needed to quickly bring her sugar level down. I've seen her become irritable; run to me, saying she is "shakey" (her sugar is low); when remedied, she will apologize to me for being "snappy", "hateful", "grumpy", etc. No need, Angel! I love you! I understand! Still at times her beautiful blue eyes will brim with tears due to large doses, but through these tears that she tries to hide (no need, tears are given to her/all of us for many different reasons), she will smile bravely at me & say: "It's okay! At least I can 'fix' it!" What a never-ending Optomistic Trouper she is! Thankfully, we are in the process of getting a pump for her. Back to when her sugar is low~she becomes "shakey" (this is what she will tell me), she will suddenly become incredibly irritable, and she needs something sweet, immediately! Again, after her blood sugar is brought to a "normal" level she will cry, beg me to forgive her, apologize to me with tears in her eyes for being so "mean" to me. She doesn't need to do this as I do the same to her, all of my family, but due to having RSDS, a/k/a CRPS. Cancer. I have had this and it isn't fun, trust me. Cures for so many diseases that take loved ones from us much too soon, or just change our lives forever... I enjoy Listening To Music, obviously, or I wouldn't be on YouTube. CONCERNS: Many~So many tragedies to Our Planet due to a very real danger caused by...people. Global Warming is here; can we fix this, or is it too late? There is harm done to Our Planet's Animals, some that as I child I never dreamed would become extinct, but they have, and more are on the endangered species list; harm to People caused by Our "Angry, Abused Planet", Earthquakes~Tornadoes~Flooding~Global Warming; Protecting Our Wild-Life~Our Endangered Species, many times caused by those who want ivory from an elephants tusk, furs to wrap around their bodies from animals when lovely, warm coats can be purchased for us at no harm to any living creature~hatred between people/countries, due to disagreements over religion, Al Quada; chemical warfare, hatred & increasing crimes in our country (United States). Child abuse/neglect. What is the future if not for us then for our children/grandchildren? I enjoy good movies, reading, swimming, gardening, decorating. I love being with and sharing w/my loved ones~my family~my friends. And oh, how I love to laugh and share the gift of laughter and love with others.

NUMBER ONE FAVORITE: DAN FOGELBERG SINCE HIS BEGINNING IN THE 1970's.."HOME FREE"...until now~"LOVE IN TIME"~ All of Dan's gifts of music will stay with me forever. My taste in music is very diversified. I enjoy Chicago~Foreigner~The Eagles~Led Zeppelin~Sarah McLachlan~The Beatles~Maroon 5~Blake Shelton~Lady Antebellum~Espen Lind~too many to name. There are So Very Many Talented Vocalists, Bands, Musicians, Songwriters, etc.; too many to name~I'll just say that I Love ALL Music (except Super Hard Heavy Metal & Opera). Still there's that one musician/vocalist/song-writer, who will always be my Number One~~DAN FOGELBERG!
