Scott MacKay

What began for Scott MacKay as casual weekly guitar lessons quickly grew into a true passion for singing and songwriting. Scott MacKay a native of Mt. Herbert, PEI, began exploring his musical talents only 5 years ago, and today is in the final stage of completing the recording process for his first EP, Dressed in Blue 6 of Scott's strongest originals. Scott is passionate about songwriting for the craft itself ~ being able to take a single idea and communicate that idea through music into art for people to connect with is for Scott simply more powerful than the words are alone ~ alone they are simply words. Scott is in the pursuit of developing his own ability to carefully craft lyrics ~ lyrics being his principle element in songwriting ~ and compose melodies so that the message arrives at the proper destination. He has learnt how to express ideas and feelings in ways he never could before and gained a closer relationship to his creative/artistic self.
