I think you're probably right; if it was a white kid, they would take it as if he were just playing around or having fun, but because of his color they took him more seriously and assumed he was violent. And even if he had that history, it's still just a rap.

Damn, naw, I don't think it's fair... unless the football team is made of some rap crew and he was kicked off for his wack rhymes, then naw, I don't think it's fair... there's freedom of speech and all, and what you say on your off time is your business... I'm sure he wasn't serious about half the shit he was talkin about... idk, it ain't fair though IMO
