Time to shred on a sled. A day so perfect, the snow so right, the runs so epic...ok maybe just semi-epic but still cool. Another Nutnfancy Adventure with friends, family, and dogness. Here I bring you to my favorite place in the whole world for sledding and tubing, nestled in a pristine basin next to a mountain lake. In past years when the lake is frozen, we do runs all the way out to it, skidding out across the ice. With deeper powder, that couldn't happen today. But a good snowfall the night before beckoned us and many others up here today. Kev and his son Griff, my son, and Allie the Mountain Dog (recuperated from double knee surgery it seems!) hike into this basin and we get to work. We meet cool people and have some cool times. From running the wicked fast Rubbermaid sled down the steep slope (there is no spoon!), to watching some fun wipeouts, and semi-epic runs, this was a good time. Somewhere along the way I smashed my chin into my knees during a jump. No permanent damage incurred.////////////////Music: Syndicate (Flux Pavilion Remix) @ http://soundcloud.com

Improve your Marlin 795 with CNC milled trigger guard and wider trigger. Featuring adjustability, the DIProducts replacement trigger will eliminate takeup and make the pull crisper. It also improves the looks of the gun. It's easy to install and makes this little Hall of Famer .22 a little more special.

I just threw this vid together tonight to show some behind the scenes work on what it takes to make a TNP Tabletop review. On an epic gun like the M1 Garand, I put in A LOT of work to make it right...getting it to a point where I'm happy with the footage. Here TacticalDoodle and myself find another epic place to engage the enemy: steel and paper with a SA WW II M1 and HRA Correct Grade CMP M1. I was pretty sick that day but I wanted to get the shoot done and spend some time with my son shooting these historic guns. I show our run set up, we talk some about the guns and ammo, we show one of my runs in completion, and I think there's a fart in there somewhere too. Watch me slip on the snow as I approach the close in bad gun and still light him up and do a reload. Keep fighting! More footage of this shoot to be seen in M1 Garand review series. I love the M1.//////////////Music licensed from TNPr Bryanisms!

By request, here are some methods by Nutnfancy of how to keep your knives organized and secure. Without a system, your knives can get lost, damaged, or stolen. Using various cost-effective containers, it's pretty easy to create a system that is accessible and easily transported to and from your secure location, like a safe. Store your knives is pouches and then keep them portable and dry using Rubbermaid Roughneck containers (or something similar as shown).//////////////////////// Shown are California Competition Works pistol magazine pouches (up to 140mm in length) which double nicely for folding knife storage. There are available at several sites buy Brownells.com carries them. The following are the current Brownells stock numbers for those pouches, avail. in various colors (subject to change/cancellation): Small knife pouch in OD #151-212-003, 4 pistol mag (med/lrg folders) pouch, OD #151-199-007, 6 pouch in OD #151-200-007, 8 pouch in OD #151-201-007. The 18 pouch carry case by PVK (Pioneer Valley Knife and Tool) is made by several manufacturers and is the most cost effective and space efficient systems found so far.

This video will probably boot Emerson sales by 300% and it turned out awesome on on many levels. That's because you will get rare insight on the man behind the blades and his philosophy: Ernest R. Emerson. He is our meaningful and well spoken host for yet another GOLD STAR Nutnfancy SHOT Show booth review. Mr. Emerson, a respected combat knife source for decades among British and US Special Operations and responsible civilians, is a man of character and sincerity. I am struck by his loyalty to his customers, his understanding of friendship, and confidence is his philosophy. He is knowledgeable, sincere, humble, meaningful, anti-nonsense, and true. It is a joy to hear him discuss his blades and philosophies as he and I see many things the same way. From this integrity and passion springs forth the Emerson blades which we see and discuss in detail. These are enduring designs, not changed by whim or marking executives, having served his customers in serious roles for many years. I respect the steel, the designs of function, and the consistency of Emerson. Like he says, these knives are not designed by committee. Along this interesting discussion TacticalDoodle and I have Earnie talk about his chisel and single edge grinds on his blades, choices of materials, his patented Pocket Opening feature (Wave), and more. We see the Commander, Tactical Persian, Like his favorite '67 Camaro, these knives bespeak of a certain elegant design that needs no explanation and is not diminished by the passage of time. If you like knives of any kind, you will find gold in this touchstone interview with Mr. Emerson himself and I thank him for his time.////////////////////////Video quality diminished from HD original. Many steps and cost undertaken to rescue this footage for posterity after the storage card crashed.////////This vid had to be re-uploaded due to YT error which cut half of it off. At the time it had 7k views.
