Solitary Phoenix

I am a - hold on a minute. Interesting how things change. A few days ago I would have identified myself as a Witch with some certainty. I no longer can. Through study of religion, and through the questioning of principles which I was fed to be the truth, I have come to the conclusion, that there is no logical reason for a sane person to identifiy themselves with a religion. Religion is made up for people who need to fill a void. But here are the reasons why I think it is distructive:
1. The practice of religion or spiritual path is a waste of time. This time could otherwise be spent in creation of a better life for all beings.
2. All religions believe they are the absolute truth. How can all individual religions hold the absolute truth, at the same time?
3. The last point creates hatred, discrimination and wars.
