The Hawk Nest

In spite of the fact that this game has been LPed my by Let's Play hero Kikoskia, I decided to give it a whirl. I had been considering anyway, and I got a couple of requests for it too which sealed the deal. (I don't always take requests, mind, but in this case I was semi-planning it anyway.) I also made it something of a "best of" video in the beginning, because I had a request for that too, and it fit in quite well. Plus, it made me laugh.

Do note that the video quality for the actual LP of this game will be substantially better; this was just recorded on a video-capture test run, and I've since figured out how to make the quality a lot better (it just wasn't worth re-recording the whole thing for the trailer.) Anyway, I hope you like it!

Also, this naturally doesn't mean that I'm giving up my Half Life LP--that'll still be my main focus. I just wanted to have something to break up LPing the same (awesome) game every time I had time to record, and also give people more options as to what they want to watch.

Edit: one more note about upcoming vids: I'm also starting a video-strategy guide for Mech Commander 2, since I've finally resolved my capture issues with that game. It won't be voiced, I plan to record the playing and then write out the guide itself. Should be pretty cool, and a nice change of pace for those getting sick of my voice. ;-)
