The Moabite Stone-The Moabite attacks on Israel as recorded in 2 Kings 1 and 3 are also recorded on the stone and it explains their defeat and retreat as it does in 2 Kings 3:24. Discovered in 1868 in Jordan.
The Lachish Letters-Discovered from 1932-38, 24 miles north of Beersheba. These letters reveal the attack of Nebuchadnezzar on Jerusalem in 568 B.C. from the perspective of ancient pagan forces hostile to God, this secular source confirms the historical accuracy as recorded in Chronicles, Isaiah and Jeremiah.
Sargons Palace-Was discovered in Khorsabad, it explains the mystery of Isaiah 20:1. King sargon is listed as King of Assyria in 714 B.C., but ancient records of the kings of Assyria never mentioned him. French archeologist Paul Botta uncovered Sargon's palace in the 19th century proving he was an Assyrian monarch.

The Cyrus Cylinder-This cylinder records Cyrus' overthrow of Babylon and his subsequent deliverance of the Jewish captives in 539 B.C. This archeological find is especially significant when one considers that Cyrus was named over 150 years BEFORE his birth in Isaiah 44:27,28 and Isaiah 45:1 as Gods chosen "shepherd".
