This newark born talent of dominican descent is an acting, dancing, singing powerhouse who with no doubt defines her passion, vision and dreams. Rodriguez started her career as a dancer, although her main passion was acting. Enjoyed cheerleading, competed in all school dance battles and joined many groups that even allowed her to explore the singing world which she also desired to be a part of. Stepping foot in it all Rodriguez tried out modeling and in this attempt in 2004-2005 held the title of Miss Latina New Jersey and Miss Congeniality. Rodriguez also recieved the title of runner up when she then traveled to Puerto Rico to compete in the Miss Belleza Latina pageant as the representative of New Jersey. In 2007 did she not only travel once more to Puerto Rico to perform in the annual Salsa Congress but also entered a national dance contest for Jennifer Lopez. Dancers from all over the country traveled to NY and submitted videos to compete for the title of "The Dancer With The Best Moves", aswell as the opportunity to appear in one of Jennifer Lopez 's music videos. The votes of worldwide renowned coreographers, online voters, and Jennifer Lopez herself determined Rodriguez as the winner of the dance contest. This dance contest win also gave her the opportunity to dance in the opening act of the 2011 Peoples Choice Awards hosted by Queen Latifah. She was a salsa dancer in the Film "El Cantante", dancer and coreographer for NYC Tour with Fulanito aswell as Chika, performances with her instructors- well known dancer Griselle Ponce and Jossue Torres. Graduating with a Communications Major- Tv Production and Radio allowed Rodriguez to use her skills as host and producer for 3 of her own radio shows. El Sexy Movimiento Radio Show which was co hosted with friend Ana Garcia opened the doors to working alongside well known tv and radio personality El Pacha in his show "El Pachatazo" as host and talent. Other radio show was "Que Lo What' with Ana and Solanyi through streetmarket radio. Rodriguez was also Co-Host of Tv Segment " Conociendo A NY through the network Super Canal Caribe. Meanwhile her passion and work for acting was vividly on and going. In 2008, Rodriguez took on the role of well known dancer of the 60 s Marilyn Winters in the 'Golden Age Of Dance" (Palladium Documentary). In that same year, The Reel Youth Film Festival presented Rodriguez with the award for Best Actress in the protagonist role of Aida in "Spiritual Hero". Played the Lead roles in plays Such as "Las Hermanas Mirabal" also known as "The Butterfly Sisters with the character Of Maria Teresa and the comedic play 'Impacto V' playing Rosa. In 2010 Rodriguez decides once again to enter a national contest but this time it was in search of not only a dancer but a singer with personality aswell, a double of Selena to be exact. After viewing thousands of videos the very famous show "Escandalo Tv" on the network Univision/Telefutura chose their 10 semi-finalist and Rodriguez was the first to get called to fly out to Miami and compete the first week of the "Buscando La Doble De Selena" Contest. Following the experience and success of the contest Rodriguez has been busy shooting a number of different films and other projects. Including most recent, audience award winning film "A Joy Deffered". Inevitably the near future sees this triple plus more threat doing what she loves, or as in her own words "Defining her passion, vision and dreams.
