This is a solo project. My name is Daric Ford. So Long Secrets has gone through many changes and updates and the sound created has evolved and changed over the years. The Glitch Project marks the latest and most ambitious version of SLS to date. I wish you all happy listening and enjoyable lives.

Poem 1: COLOR
------------------------

The concept of the album has 3 layers. First, it's a representation of the colors of the rainbow, sort of a nod to visual art within my audio art. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and then finally White. While I know those are not technically the traditional colors of the rainbow, their arrangement is such that they support the second layer.

Each of these colors also represents one of the 7 Major Chakras in the human body. The Root, The Sacrum (sex organs), The Solar Plexus, The Heart, The Throat, The Third Eye, and The Crown. Each chakra also corresponds to a physical, mental, and spiritual aspect of our being human, which helps to illustrate the concept of a level of "divinity," or at the very least, a "divine design" within us, and influences the vocals and the style of each song heavily.

And finally, each song is also about awakening to a higher level of consciousness, sort of like "communing with God." We have to overcome our base instincts and urges first (The Challenger) (The Beast) (The Consumer) , and then we must overcome the obstacles that stand in between us and our understanding and achieving enlightenment (The Fear) (The Silent) (The Blind), which then concludes with us coming before (The Divine).

The album itself is seamless and each track flows into the next track without any breaks in between, consequently making the album itself an extended journey through the consciousness of each person. Additionally, the whole album itself is also an infinite loop because the end of the 7th song will loop seamlessly back to the beginning of the 1st song, which makes the album a circle, so the song, or Poem, continues to be heard infinitely.

Chakra is also Sanskrit for circle, and the circle is the only truly perfect shape that we can perceive. To me, this truly represents GOD because the Divine is both Beginning and End, which means that God is the same, all the way around... existing eternally, like a circle.
