Jelani Harris (Born on May 10, 1993), better known as PvTruest grew up in Columbus, Ohio watching and supporting the careers of many local MC's. Growing up in an era where Hip Hop music was consistantly changing, Pv began moving away from his liking of Hip Hop music and started listening to more R&B and Pop music and only listened to a select number of Hip Hop artist. Not wanting to give up on Hip Hop music, Pv decided to buy himself a $800 mic, Protools, and soundproof padding to build himself a mini studio in his basement. Now a year later (2011), everything Pv posts on the internet, with industry sounding quality, instantly gets hundreds and thousands of plays within a week. Still watching and supporting other local artist, Pv now began taking notes seeing why other local artists had been "grinding" for so long but had not yet stepped foot in the game. January 1, 2011 Pv Truest launched a YouTube page (www.Youtube.com/District12Ohio) where he began posting cover song's to billboard charting singles such as "No Hands," "Motivation," and "Oh My." Already pulling over 30K views by March, blogs saw the talent and heard his new sound and began posting blog articles giving Pv a nice internet buzz. High Schools around Columbus began contacting him for performances at prep rallies and talent shows. Now finally having a strong fan base in the city which he grew up in, Pv is ready for his next move which is to have a radio single with a mixtape hosted by an infamouse DJ to expand his fan base throughout America.
