@shysaxguy, Dale is a personal acquaintance, and he plays with our community band once a year, and sax playing doesn't get any better than him, especially when it comes to altissimo register!

Alto Clarinet is VERY hard to play. The embouchure is different from Bb soprano clarinet and it's VERY hard to keep in tune with the other instruments. ...

@xcptenor It's a Mexican song about a city in Spain. So there.

@maffan Dave hasn't grown! He is playing a soprano sax in this piece. It's smaller than an alto sax and higher pitched (in case you couldn't tell). Most sopranos are straight with no curved bell, but not always.

@macintosh315, um hello............ bass would be LOWER. Duh.

@desertdweller09, I play alto clarinet in a community band. There are some good parts out there for alto clarinet, maybe about 3 actual solo pieces ever written. But the rest of the time I get stuck covering alto sax parts.

@SpontificusPontoon, according to Percy Grainger, the title is "Irish Tune from County Derry". So there.

@millymille1 -- I paid $150 for mine on eBay, but it's only a Bundy made our of resonite. I played in a mass band this summer with a girl who paid $10,000 for a good wood LeBlanc!!!
