Wheeler at heart, but snow wheeler to the bone!
What we do: We wheel through the mountains in snow depths that can average 10 feet plus and drifts 20 feet plus. We go for 2, 3, and sometimes 4 days at a time. Our vehicles are set up for comfortable sleeping and they protect us from severe weather. We use gps navigation so we can tell where the road is and to keep from getting lost in snowstorms.
About my cherokee: 1991, 258 ci bottom end, 4.0 top, Automatic or manually controlled automatic. Manually controlled torque converter lock up. Dana 30 front and rear with air operated ox lockers and 30 spline chrome moly axle shafts. Four wheel steering.

I CALLED THE PENDLETON OFFICE AND THEY PUT ME THROUGH TO THE OFFICE IN CHARGE OF THE JUBALEE LAKE AREA. BRENDA WAS THE PERSON THAT I SPOKE TO. I HOPE THAT SHE DOSN'T HAVE HER FACTS STRAIT. FROM A DIFFERENT SOURCE I HAVE HEARD THAT IT MIGHT JUST BE THE GODMAN/ BLUEWOOD AREA. I OPERATED A SNOWCAT FOR BLUEWOOD AND HAVE HAD TOYOTAS COME DOWN MY GROOMED RUNS DURING MY NIGHT SHIFT... IF PEOPLE WOULD STAY OFF THE GROOMED SNOMOBILE TRAILS AND SKI RUNS THIS WOULDN'T BE GOING ON IN MY OPINION... THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES TO GO UNTILL APRIL 1st.....HOPE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT...GEORGE

I heard a rumor about the Umatilla National Forrest not opening the roads untill may1st!!!! I called the office and got in to a conversation with Brenda, and she said that they are working on a plan to close the roads to wheeled vehicles. At first I thought it was just rd 64, and she informed me that it would affect all forest service roads. THIS HASEN'T HAPPEND YET BUT IS IN THE WORKS....IS THIS THE END OF THE JUBALEE RUN????? ;0(

wicked jeep love the 4ws!!! ive got a 92 that im working on building up. its my 3rd jeep. we do alot of snowwheeling up in wyoming and colorado but ive never done anything like that. keep on jeepin brotha great vids and cant wait to see this winters vids

You and your group of snow wheelers are the best iv seen, I love snow wheeling and I am building a new toy inspired buy your vids and rigs that I have seen here, it is a 84 4runner, its coming along nicely!... maybe someday we can get our wheeln buddys 2gthr and go on a run sometime. We live in lakeview oregon, hope to chat w u soon. I have some quick questions on my build if u don't mind or if u have a lil extra time.
