@AlexMerenkov2 Their length. The A300K is 30 ft, the A300L 40. The K and L in the name stand for 'Kort' and 'Lang', the Dutch / Flemish words for short and long, since Van Hool is Belgian.

@craksracing0com So the Spanish university is right: it IS a physical shape. Just not a pod, but a wing-to-body fairing, which in itself is a bulge. The size of it comes accross as exaggerated het because of the color contrasts, but anyone who knows anything about commercial aircraft can tell you...

@MADDOGElly1 No it wasn't. It was a United plane. United's planes had a mostly grey livery, so some people mistook it for a military plane. Looking at the videos, you van clearly distinguish several features of the United Airlines color scheme.
