Brandon, 35, is a native of the small town of Vidor, Texas. When he takes the stage, he brings a combination of the small town value upbringing mixed with some true country pizzazz. He credits his love of country music to his love of the country way of life. Brandon derives his style of singing from enjoying the music of many of country's greatest artists; such as, Tracy Byrd, Trace Adkins, Paul Brandt, Wade Hayes, and many others. If Brandon had to choose one artist as his inspiration, it would be Tracy Bryd, another Vidor, Texas native. Brandon is impressed with the way fame has not stopped Tracy from holding to his "roots' and supporting his hometown area. In this past few years Brandon has added to his accomplishments through local performances and bookings. He especially was excited about performing for the Liberty Festival in down town Beaumont July 4, 2003. Brandon enjoyed seeing his name in lights, in the papers and on television. The local attention gave him the self-esteem boost he needed to continue his pursuit even harder.
Like Tracy, Brandon likes to give back to his community through doing benefit performances. To his credit he has performed for the Petsmart local charity to raise money for homeless pets, the Labor Day MDA fund-raiser which is organized by local web page designer, Tommy Mann (www.localmusicguide.net). Relay for life several years running, and many local fund raisers for local needy people from SouthEast Texas.
Brandon credits his hometown success to his friends and family who show him unlimited support of his life-long dream and aspirations.
He gives much credit to Deanna Dawn and Pate Tatum and The Texas Revolution Band who inspired Brandon to keep pursuing his dream through the energy and excitement he brings to each of his performances. Laughin Deanna also explained to him that "if he would only shake his "rump" a little more, it would certainly fill up the tip jar". To this Brandon credits where he is to and only to These two. Although he shares his love of music with other musicians,it is Deanna that gave him the fire in his heart and eyes.
And for this he says "Thank You Deanna and Texas Rev you will never know what it has meant for me to perform next to the greatest artist country music has to offer"
