My name's Mick, I play harp, and I'm slim. So I thought why not call myself SlimHarpMick? Someone else already thought of Slim Harpo!
I first got back into playing harp in 2008, hoping that this time I could 'crack it'. I found kudzurunner's channel, and that really helped me to get a grip on the instrument.
So, what's the point of my channel? Well, a lot of people here just upload videos of themselves playing, and there's nothing wrong with that. I enjoy a lot of those videos. What I'd like to do is put up some playing, just for the fun of it, but, also include some videos that discuss the things I'm learning from a student's point of view; a way of sharing the problems I've encountered so that you might gain from that and I might gain from your responses.
I hope you enjoy my stuff. Your thoughts are welcome.
