"Let thy tongue acquire the habit of saying, 'I don't know,' lest thou be led to falsehoods."

About Me:
Leaving the Brethren was not an easy decision, but after moving on, I can now say that I've never been happier.
A few months back, lonely, and hoping to meet a good Christian woman, I posted several profiles and comments on the ElectronicBundlingBoard.net and the OnlineBundlingBoard.biz websites. Unfortunately, the only action I got was from loose divorcées and very happy men with unnatural desires for 'bears'. Apparently, my very long beard led them to believe that I am a hunter. But recently, I bought a video mp3 player, and after downloading Lady Gaga's latest videos, I now have more woman than I could ever desire!
Lately, I've been saddened over the fact of the many people experiencing the negative effects of the recent economic downturn. I hear tell of factory closings and job losses nearly every day. But G-d helps the one who helps himself, and that's why I tell those who've lost their jobs to consider self-employment as a path back to the prosperity the good L-rd wants for us all. There's plenty of market share in coopering, for example. In fact, the demand for barrels and caskets HAS NEVER been higher! I can't tell you how many customers I've had to turneth away, especially in recent months. And considering all of the people who are losing their homes, their horseless carriages, and even the shirts off their backs, I see a bright economic future for cooperages. As the Good Book says, "For every thing turn, turn, turn, turn, there is a season turn, turn, turn, and a time for every purpose, under Heaven."
If coopering is not for you, consider applying for an apprenticeship with a master plumber. As more folk turn to indoor plumbing, many experts now believe outhouses and fetching water may soon be a thing of the past. And for those who seeketh the challenge of a demanding work environment, plumbing is a field virtually guaranteeing non-stop excitement. In fact, Jack, my neighbor, has been job-shadowing with his friend Mario, who was formerly a carpenter but now works as a plumber. He says they face many dangers on Mario's job sites, including rolling barrels, various goombahs, and fire-breathing dragons which creepeth up from deep inside the sewers of hell. I had no idea that plumbing could be such a hazardous occupation. No wonder their fees are so outrageous!
Another red-hot market sector is development in battery technology--especially in batteries for consumer electronics and hybrid-electric horseless carriages. Whether ye are a backyard hacker or a certified and/or licensed scientist, advances in that sector are just aching to be made. Heck, I'd pay a premium for a technological tweak improving the portability performance of my video player ; )
The YouTube videos I've selected as favorites should give ye a good starting point on thy search for a new career as a cooper. Other videos here focus on the subjects of high-tec, low-tech, photovoltaic film, low-tech batteries, nano-technology advances in battery development, hand-crank appliances, pedal-powered transportation and appliances, and electric and horse-drawn carriages.
