Scanning a model of a Porsche 917K with the Beagle-1 VMC 2814 Machining Center, and the PURE-NC EMP-02 Touchprobe.

Very Impressed, can you tell me a little more re the laser. How much care do you have to take protective wise optically etc. ie no potential problems using a video camera with the laser working? What's the life span of the laser? Fumes gasses produced (safe not safe)?
