How does that even make any sense? These horses weight 10x as much as I do, and the weight is distributed between two of them. Obviously these animals are much larger than humans and have been bred selectively to pull heavy loads. P.s. use spell check next time

I have owned horses all my life also and study animal physiology. An animal with eyes on the side of it's head does not have a complete range of vision. I have had horses that have kicked at dogs that have stood behind them like this and they were never abused.

The horse displayed every physical warning signal that it didn't want to be touched. The parent is the moron for not reading those cues.

It amazes me how many people are standing up for this event. I have ridden horses for my entire life in competition and I would never subject any of them to the danger of racing down an incline like that. Do anyone honestly think this is safe??

Eating meat and working an animal to the point of exhaustion are not the same thing. I am not a vegetarian, yet I am against inhumane treatment of ALL animals. Eating meat doesn't make a person any less compassionate.

I didn't see any galloping, bucking, or weaving....This horse is moving at the second slowest gait, a trot. Foaming at the mouth is not an indication that a horse is dehydrated.

Those costumes are pretty bad....I understand that they're going for a specific look, but I think they could easily maintain the scary appearance without looking so frumpy.
