This game had this whimsical charm that will never be replicated. I am forever grateful that I had the chance to experience it, especially in my childhood. It's indelible!

@bluzpowered It's Duane's version as much as Eric's, if not more. He had the idea of making the song like it is with the fifths and all, and the solos he produces here are astonishing and the highlight of the entire piece, and what makes it stand out from the rest of the renditions.

That said, I wish I could play like this lol. Though he's been playing since he could talk and devoted his entire life so far to it.

@SkymanBrother Once you get to this level of comprehension you will understand why countless similar show(off)s are vacuous. They still have their uses obviously, but your admiration is misplaced, unless it concerns skill, which is not that rare a commodity today. ;)

What the fack does sex have to do with this album? And Dave mentions the variety of emotions. It was the point, to present as many sonical moods as possible and retain the coherence. It's the point of most jazz actually.
