Hi, my name is John.
I like to think of my channel as a music resource, and my goal is to enlighten people to good music they might not have heard before. I have a career, but music is an important part of my life. I listen to and play many types such as Blues, Jazz, Folk, Rock, R&B, Reggae, Bluegrass, Fingerstyle, Classical, Progressive, Ambient, etc. etc.

Music is art. It trancends languages, cultures, and borders. It is the universal human language (beside love). It is the language of emotion, and speaks to the heart and soul. Just pick up an instrument and start playing, find a pen and start writing, or sing while you're in the shower : ) Whatever you want to accomplish in life, get busy and do it. No fear, you will get through it. Never stop living your dreams.

You Tube is such an amazing forum/medium. It's a window to the world. I never knew there was so much talent out there (not only in music). OUCH! Hope your ankle and foot are doing much better by now. A new home sounds so nice. So happy for you! All the best to you! Enjoy your new home and the beautiful mountains. The view there must be breathtaking. Your parents will miss you moving out of their house. Hopefully, you will not be living too far away from them. My son is also planning to move to another state once he is done with college. I am hoping that he will change his mind. It would be too difficult for me to get used to not having him here. I love him so much, but I also know that he needs his independence. No man wants to be a mama's boy. lol Thanksgiving was great! Looking forward to a beautiful Christmas. :) May you and your loved ones have a blessed Christmas and a Healthy & Happy New Year of 2012! :)

Hi John, Hope all is well with you. Just wanted to stop by to say "Hello." It has been a while since I visited your channel. It's looking good! I'm very busy these days writing a book, "Scarlet Peonies." It will probably take me a few months longer to finish the first draft. Looking forward to having it published. It would be great if it made the charts, but that is yet to be seen. Heck, I can visualize it making the top ten! :)

The beautiful season of autumn is about to begin. I have a feeling that Mother Nature will surprise us with an array of the most vibrant colors this fall. :)

I believe that if women had always been in control of the world (or had a equal power/input), we would have a much better planet today with less war, more compassion and prosperity, not as much greed/corruption, and a cleaner environment.
