Ｑ: What do you use to record?

Ａ: For Console Games: A Dazzle DVC 100 (my package said "Dazzle video editor Plus") and I use the program that came with it, Pinnacle Studios 12, to record the raw footage. Plenty of info on how to set it up, so don't be afraid to Google/YouTube it. That is how I learned to record.
I record my audio with Sound Recorder to get good game AND voice quality.
On PC: I record everything (voice + game) with Fraps, a very cheap program that does the job.
To edit (intro, cut parts, etc): Sony Vegas 7.0
