Make no mistake, i'm not saying that MxO is a dead product by any means, just that it was capable of becoming so much more if it was given a better send off. (IMHO of course)

I wouln't nessecarily say "it all went downhill"; the games improved leaps and bounds since the early days. Sure, SOE might not be allocating it the support it deserves but that doesn't mean it isnt being developed whatsoever. Content is being added, the storylines continuing and the roleplays getting more and more involving. Until any of those stop progressing, I see no reason to shrug MxO off as a dead game. Free trial keys are still available btw, you should check it out.

MxO has stuff to work with, that much is true, but SoE has no real intrest to work on it...that is the real problem.

IMHO MxO was hurt badily by the last two Matrix movies combined with the removal of the old combat system and it all went downhill.

It's a shame really...MxO really didn't get a fair shake.

I second that..if it was F2p it would be really crowded. And men i mean MxO got so much stuff to work with..i mean even if it was F2p they could make it work so and still get paid. MxO got that much content to still deliver. Just my opinion.

Don't those 10 of millions which play P2P games play WoW only? But even then MXO is awesome but the game would be much more popular if it wasn't P2P.

thats kinda a rip off. i mean i like the matrix and the matrix online looks like a cool game. but honestly why should i pay 15 pounds a month for a game.

Pay to play, $15 a month.

is the matrix online a free game, or do you only have to pay once then play the game for free?
